How to remove sunscreen stains

You can protect your skin from the sun, but what about protecting clothes from sun cream? Sunscreen stains are complex, since they contain so many ingredients, like avobenzone, that can leave sunscreen stains on clothes. When avobenzone mixes with minerals sometimes found in water, it can leave brown, rusty residues. Other ingredients include oils, colours and active ingredients which not only stain the garment at first glance, but also appear after it’s been washed and ironed! So it’s important to remove sunscreen stains with a washing detergent, like Ariel, with solvents and enzymes that work for various stains. Follow our Ariel stain solutions and tips for sunscreen stain removal.
