How to remove marker stains

There’s a reason why some markers get called a “permanent marker”, but if you get any on your shirt – don’t panic! There are many factors that contribute to successful marker stain removal, like fabric, the type of marker, as well as how long the stain has had to set. Permanent markers are made up of oils or alcohols, called “carriers”, which help the ink to stick to the surface and binds it there. These are water resistant, so rinsing won’t help much. You’ll want to remove marker stains on clothes as soon as possible, and the best way is to treat it before it dries and use a washing detergent, like like Ariel stain remover, specifically formulated with powerful solvents, for tackling stubborn marker stains on clothes, ensuring a spotless finish every time.
